growing, transparent, fun

I’m a Jesus obsessed, Starbucks loving, Target shopping, HGTV watching, Netflix binging, mama of one sweet-faced tweenage girl. I’m perfectly flawed, easy going and light-hearted. I call beautiful Columbus, Ohio home and I’m a diehard Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I love all things pretty, such as polka dots, bows, peonies, and lace. You can usually find me at home dressed in my sweats, a t-shirt I’ve had since 4th grade and a pair long fuzzy socks, curled up in a blanket on my couch.

Being a Christian can seem hard sometimes. I know it has felt (feels) that way for me! It’s hard to know what to do, when to do, and when not to do and so on. Then add to that the pressure of life and the expectations that others have on Christians. It’s a tad bit overwhelming. I can remember a point in my relationship with Christ where I felt like I had plateaued. I felt as if I would never grow, never become more like Christ and that I was just stuck where I was. I struggled with where I was compared to where I “should” be.

Anyone else deal with this?

That’s why I started this blog. This blog is all about growing more like Christ. It’s about learning how to live as a believer. And by no means do I have it all together. I’m not perfect nor am I am an expert of any kind, but I’m a work in progress. If you’ve spent any time on this blog, you’ve figured that out! My goal is to share with you, openly and honestly, as I learn more about Christ and I grow in His likeness.

I’m inviting you to come along with me. I’m passionate about helping others grow in Christ and sharing His word. Grab a tall glass of whatever you like and hang out with me for a while.
