PASSIONATE, AUTHENTIC, WELCOMING

With a heart for beautiful branding, a love for memorable graphics and 10+ years of design & marketing experience, Lauren Black helps small businesses shine through meaningful and intentional design. Her studio, Legacy Loft, is passionate about creating full brand suites – logos, websites, social media graphics and stationery – that are every bit as effective as they are beautiful. Lauren believes in bringing out the best of her clients by leveraging their personalities to build brands that authentically connect with their ideal clients.

Lauren has embraced collaboration with her competition to co-found the Elevate & Cultivate Design Collaborative, a community for graphic designers to strengthen their skills, receive feedback on their work and develop friendships stronger than Gotham Ultra. She is passionate about helping other designers elevate their skills and cultivate their businesses through mentorship, resources and community.

Outside of the studio, Lauren loves being an aunt to four little ones, traveling with her husband, and volunteering at her church. Lauren also runs a blog and community for Christian business owners – Honey & Grace – which helps women go from busy-bee to breathing free by finding God’s grace in life & business.

FAITH FUSION [LIFE & BRAND]

Within my design business, I make sure to treat every client with grace and acceptance, as Christ would. I make sure my blog posts and social media messages speak truth and life, often sharing Bible verses and talking about my faith. I boldly stand on my Christian values and am not afraid to turn down work or collaborations that don’t align with Christian principles. I also run a Facebook group and have a blog for Christian business women, to encourage others to infuse faith into their brands and businesses. It’s called Honey & Grace – from busy-bee to breathing free, finding God’s grace in life & business.

 

FAVORITE SCRIPTURE

Currently, “Be still and know that I am God.” It’s the brand verse for Honey & Grace. I’m such a busy-bee and tend to try to do things on my own strength, so this verse reminds me to stop & surrender, and let God be God! The “I am” statements of God are so powerful, as well, so I love that part of this verse!
