Don't Give Up On God..He won't Give Up on You!
So did I mentioned that I'm not perfect! LOL Well I need a few minutes to be transparent with you about my #faithjourney. Since the birth of my son Cameron in May, I have been dealing with a battle of baby blues....a dose of depression. With the pressure of trying to balance all my roles as a wife, mother, daughter/sister, business owner, and everything else in between, I found myself starting to slip back into my old habits - depending on self and not God!
I was dealing with mixed emotions, wanting to give up on God and myself - just simply wanting to throw in the towel! I was at whits end- frustrated, angry, and fearful! However, I'm so thankful for God's gift of the Holy Spirit to comfort me and remind me that God doesn't gives us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7)
Dear friend, whatever you are battling with right now, be encouraged today and don't give up. The enemy is on his job to steal, kill, and destroy, but take a stand and remind him that he will no longer toil around with your thoughts and distract you from experiencing God's grace, mercy, and blessings. We serve an awesome God that will NEVER leave us nor forsake us. Keep praying and keep pressing!
Commit these few scriptures to memory to draw strength from - there's supernatural power in His word:
